League Info | The Basics
Level 1 Recreational Division
Level 1 Recreational is our lower level. Level 1 is for players who are newer to hockey and have limited experience, or have lots of experience but have slowed down. We have players in level 1 who just started and others who have played for 30+ years.
Regardless of experience, we only allow people to play in Level 1 if their skill, speed and attitude is a fit. If a player is too good for Level 1, we will assign them to Level 2. The emphasis at Level 1 is on having fun, skill development and helping newer players get better. The Level 1 division plays like a low level Rec or D league that you might find at other rinks.
Level 2 Division
Level 2 is our higher level. Level 2 is for players who are faster and have further developed skills than our Level 1 players. Some have played high school hockey in the past but no one in this league has played at a high level (i.e. high-level high school, juniors, college, etc.).
This league is not for high level players, “ringers”, or anybody with a “winning is the only thing that matters” attitude. We will not allow players to continue playing in this league if they upset the balance of gameplay. The Level 2 division plays like a lower level C2/C3/D league that you might find at other rinks.
