Learn to Play Hockey - Instructional Class - Summer 2025

Target Audience:

Adults (18+) that have little or no formal hockey/skating experience. New skaters, people who have never played hockey. More experience players who would like to get better. Current members of the SSHL (or other leagues) are all welcome.  

Minimum Experience:

No prior hockey experience required. Basic skating skills are helpful but not required.

Format:

Wednesday nights from 7:30pm to 9pm. 90-minute sessions (30 minutes each: skating skills, hockey skills, gameplay)

Equipment Required:

Full hockey equipment is required including skates, shin guards, hockey pants, chest protector, elbow pads, helmet (cage highly recommended), and stick. Please contact us for more details or if you have questions on the equipment.
