Attendance & Subbing…how it works
We keep our rosters small (no more than 12-13 skaters) to maximize your ice time. Our goal every week is to have right around 10 skaters (2 full lines) and a goalie. If your team is light players, we will assign subs to get your team to 10 skaters.
1. Player Check In/Attendance ***Mandatory***
In order for this league to run smoothly, everyone has to do their part. It is your responsibility every week to check in/out for your game. This is mandatory. This needs to be completed by Noon every Thursday to allow us time to find subs. We are using the TeamSideline Team Site feature which allows you to login and record your attendance. You will receive a reminder from the system, but it is on you to remember to update your attendance. Access your Team Site Here. There is also a link on the SSHL website. If you have not already checked in this week…do it now by going to your team’s Team Site!
2. Sub Opportunities | Play Extra Games
Every week we will post available games. You can fill out the Sub Request Form to pick games that you would like to sub in, other than your own. We will contact you, if you are chosen, and confirm your availability for the game. We reach out to people via email/text on Fridays/Saturdays, and as people check out. You must be confirmed by us to sub in a game, don’t just show up. If you would like to sub in a game this weekend, go fill out the Sub Request Form now.
